Live
Classes
All registrations,
whether made by mail, fax, online, or email are considered binding. A $25.00
processing fee will be charged for any cancellations. If your cancellation is
received within less than seven days before the class date, and no later than 2
days before the class, you will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. If your
cancellation is received within less than 2 days prior to the class or after the
class date, you will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee. MTI assumes no
responsibility for any expenses incurred by the registrant in the event the
class is canceled due to lack of pre-paid registrations, unforeseen
circumstances, or acts of nature.
Live Class Transfer Policy
In
the event the student cannot attend the registered class, a one-time transfer
will be allowed. The student may transfer to a new class date, as long as the
transfer is made no later than 7 days prior to the original class date and the
student is transferring into the same class. Only one transfer will be permitted
and a cancellation fee will not be charged. In the event the student cancels the
new transferred date, at any time for any reason, a 100% cancellation fee will
be imposed.
Correspondence Product
Sales Policy (Self-Study)
All product purchases,
whether made by mail, fax, online, or email are considered binding. In the event a student wishes to return
the product for a full cash refund, MTI must be notified by fax, mail or email
within 72 hours from the receipt of the product of the intent to return the
course(s). After proper
notification has been given, the book(s) and CDs or materials must be returned
unopened and unused, to MTI corporate office with 15 days of receipt. A full refund less $25.00 handling
fee and any shipping charges will then be issued. If proper notification was not
provided, the course(s) may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase
and the student will receive a credit in the form of MTI Gold Points for the
total price less $25.00 handling fee and any shipping charges. After 30 days from the date of purchase

Extended Classroom /
Simulcast Policy
All students enroll in the
MTI Extended Classroom may cancel their enrollment under the same provisions of
the Live Class Cancellation policy.
In the event materials have been sent to the student, the refund will be
calculated as the difference between the cost of the Extended class and the cost
of the equivalent correspondence course, less a $25.00 handling fee and shipping
costs.
Virtual Class Policy
(Virtual Classroom)
All product purchases,
whether made by mail, fax, online, or email are considered binding and final.
MTI will not issue refunds on Virtual Classroom purchases. In the event that a
student is not able to view the class due to technical issues, MTI will review
on a case by case basis.
Advance Product
Shipments
In the event the class
manual and CDs (if applicable) are shipped prior to the scheduled date of a live
class, and the student wishes to cancel their class enrollment and it’s no later
than 7 days prior to the scheduled class date, the student will be issued a
refund in an amount equal to the price difference between to the live class and
the equivalent correspondence course, less a $25.00 handling fee and any
shipping costs. In the event the
cancellation request is within 7 days of the scheduled class, no refunds will be
issued.
Refund Time
Periods
All cash refunds will be
issued within 30 days of date requested.
Gold Point credits will be issued to student bank within 15 days of date
requested.
